KYSO (Kentucky Standard Oil) Lamp by Dave Benson

I am looking for information on the KYSO (Kentucky Standard Oil)
lamp. It is almost a copy of the RAYO except for the markings on
the flame spreader and the oil filler cap. Like to find someone who
has one that would sell it.

Dave: Not quite a "copy" (although very similar, and
certainly the same operating principle), if the image I have seen
is the correct lamp. Only seen the ONE image, so don't know.
The burner looks like a slotted Rayo, but with a different
galley. The font seems fuller, rounder, and the foot has Miller
(or P&A) cloverleafs on it. The tripod part that remains is
definately Miller. Educated guess is that Miller made the lamp in
the image, but don't really know that anything but the FS
(that looks like P&A made it...held together with tabs like the
Banner) and filler cap are KYSO. I can't even send you the
image...it's proprietary (to be used in a book by the owner,
I think), else it would have been in The Rayo Book! Sorry. :: Fil
