Hello, Is there a source out there for circular/tubular wicks,
especially in the smaller sizes? I have a number of central
draft/Argand style lamps which need these wicks. My local lamping
resources have told me that I have to sew my own. Thanks,
John

John: No, no no! You don't SEW wicks, you KNIT them! yes, round
wicking is difficult to get in this country. I stock wicking for the
big-bore central draft table lamps like the Rayo, and some smaller
diameter wicking I get from ...well, hell: just write Paul Benkover
at REMEMBER YESTERDAY, 1382 Gravenstein Hgwy. South, Sebastopol, CA

anything to fit. he gets stuff from the UK. :: Fil ::

Hi John, I do have some tubular wicks, especially for vegetable oil
lamps (moderator or Carcel), and also some for kerosene. If you send
me precise diameters (in millimeters please) or better samples, I'll
tell you if that is possible. Regards,
Ara
