Globe/Shade for antique oil (table) lamp [Index: Parts
Suppliers] by Patricia O'Hern

I'm trying to find replacement parts for old English oil table
lamps that my grandmother gave to me. I'm willing to convert
the fitter to American standard if I need to. The original lamps
are oil (parafin) table lamps with brass and cut-glass bases. The
original globes, which are now broken, are approximately: fitter:
3.75 inches (I don't know what the metric equivalent is),
height 7", width at top 7". The originals were etched,
fluted, and colored glass. I would like to find a
replacement...either an antique or a reproduction. Thanks in
advance for your help. Patricia (in Boston)

This inquiry was forwarded to several UK and European
collector/dealers, and was, I believe answered by referral to a
supplier called "LampParts" in the UK. :: Fil ::
