I am a highschool student researching the technology of auto mobile
headlights.I have come to realize that I do not know how they work in
the world today. If you could sent me any info at all on how
headlights work, it would be very helpful. Thank you for your time.

Cory, A headlight is an electric light with glass prisms to shape the
beam of the light for driving. A good primer on electric lightsand
how they work is at http://www.misty.com/~don/bulb1.html

Fred: THANK YOU! Your answer is precise, and gives the young man a
