Recently, I came across an extremely interesting electric light
bulb in an old house. It is shaped like the globe of a hurricane lamp
and is about five inches tall. Inside the bulb are metallic leaves,
flowers, and a bird. When the bulb is lit the bird and flowers glow
lavendar and the leaves glow green. Where the base of the bulb
usually
has a black resin seal, this one has a cobalt blue glass seal. There
are absolutely no markings on the bulb at all.
I would appreciate any info you could give me concerning age,
origin, value, etc. I have not been able to locate anything
concerning
this type bulb in any of the research I have done.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Guild Response
Mrs Fisher: I've seen such bulbs before, but know absolutely nothing about them! Our Guild is Liquid or gaseous Fuel (kerosene, gasoline, alcohol, "city gas", etc) oriented, NOT electric. It is also NOT an appraisal service, nor has it any other commercial attachment, although some of our members may.
