Dear Mr. Graff,
I have question that may or may not relate to The International Guild of Lamp Researchers. It seems from your home page that you deal mainly with pre-electric lamps however I have a lamp I believe not to be too much older than 1900. So, I will continue in hopes that you will keep reading after stating that. :) Our lamp has a brass base with fairies on the rim. Then working your way up it is a candlebra design black background and more brass fairies on the "candlebra" vase. There are three candle/light bulb holders and attached to them are actual handcrafted brass fairies with wings. There is a square rod that runs up the middle of the same metallic material. The shade is a Tole shade and is attached by three serpents' heads. The square rod has a face on one side with it's mouth open and an arrow juts through the mouth. At the top there is a hole for a fineal. The only name we can find is on the back's of the wings and the head--Vibert. So as you can tell from my description it is quite unusual. Maybe belonging in the Addams Family home. If you have any idea of what this lamp could be please fill free to e-mail me. I appreciate any help you could give us.
Sincerely, The Thomas Family

Here's one I can't answer right off the bat! Amie, an image would help greatly! Anyone out there know this lamp? Seems "VIBERT" is a key! Please send answers to Fil Graff, WebServant
