Thermogeneration of Electricity...again

Friends: We have had an inquiry from a gentleman in Nepal who is trying to build a thermogenerator that will power a radio. He has been in e-mail contact with several of the more technically adept folks who participated in the now Archived Research Inquiry, but has requested photos of my Russian lamp's heat sink. As Internet is awfully slow there, I thought the easiest way to help would be to post the photos here.
As those of you that were at the Aladdin Gathering in Paducah in 2001 know, I now own a small Russian lamp (1/2" wick, as I remember) and thermogenerator unit that will (and actually DID when someone was watching!) operate two 9 volt speakerless transistor radios at once, but will BARELY light a grain of wheat bulb. An interesting novelty, and I'm glad I have it, but the efficiency is so low as to make it practically worthless.

Maybe the Thermogeneration discussion will reopen because of this request, maybe not. :: Fil Graff ::
