Here's an interesting challenge. This is an all wood lamp probably made out of walnut. Rather old (or at least old looking), I'd say about 20-30 years. It has no wiring in it and does not appear to have ever had any but it does have a continuous path from the brass tip to the base and out, so I am guessing that it is a prototype. The obvious guess is that its from Aladdin (with that Aladdin Lamp on top :) )
It's 4'6" tall. On the bottom I can make out "Chicago A14", and "Brass 8 F1". Any ideas??

The base is wood on top. Underneath it is a pot-metal/iron like substance. There is a very long pipe/lag bolt that goes from top to base that holds it all together.
