Guild Photos

This page is primarily designed for our own amusement, and to keep fond memories of friends and events alive, but others may enjoy seeing the Guild's diverse membership at work (nah...even Seminars are FUN do do!) and play.

We include several "albums" here. They are in PDF format, so you'll need the Adobe reader to access them. Some of the albums are biggish files, so be prepared for some screen loading time. We must apologize for the image quality in some cases. PDF has the tendency to blow small images up to full screen width, so several appear pretty "pixelly". But if you print them out, they should return to "real" size.We did the best we could with what we had in the files. An apology must also be offered for the many photos of the Guild Secretary, but as the images came from HIS files, you get what he has!

Album One: Gatherings, Meets and Seminars, images from various Aladdin Gatherings, where Guild members congregate in the largest numbers at one place and time.

Album Two: The Grand Illumination, a ONE time (actually 3 presentations) of 2000 years of lighting, all in one place, and most functioning as originally. A BIG file!

Album Two-A: LIGHT! at Pittsburgh, some images from the lecture opening the LIGHT! exhibition at Carnegie Museum of Art. A sort of rehearsal fo the Grand Illumination.

Album Three: England, from the Rushlight joint meeting with the Historic Lighting Club.

Album Four: Europe, images from the Rushlight trip to Paris and also "Petromaxia".

Album Five: Ipswitch, the annual display at the Ipswitch Transport Museum in 2000.

Album Six: Ipswitch 2, photos from other Ipswitch years.

Album Seven: The Fuel Fools session, where an internation group of lamp nuts of all persuasions (including two young people) played with "rocket fuel" and got a 100 year old Arc Lamp burning.

Album Eight: Petromaxia, Europe's annual pressure fest.

Album Nine: Miscellaneous, other pictures not classified above.

Album Ten: Miscellaneous 2, more of them (these'll get categorized sometime, I promise!)
