Our Main Pages
- Question
& Answer This page is the center of activity on the site. A first stop at the
Archives may give
an answer to many questions. A wealth of information from past questions (searchable) is
maintained.
- Lamp Clubs provides direct links to the websites of officially organized lighting study groups. Several publish informative newsletters.
- Links go to
the websites of individual lamp and lantern collectors or researchers.
- Repairs-Restorations
is a resource aid to collectors all over the world, linking to many sources for restoration, supplies, and parts
- Publications
page lists currently available Guild (and other) lighting related books, magazines, CDs,
etc, with ordering information.
- Light International Digest,
is an electronic continuation of our "official journal", Light International.
It is now individual articles, in PDF format (you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader
to view it), and you can either download any or all, or print out directly.
These are shorter articles, so the downloading time is reduced.
- Lamp Term Dictionary and German
Lamp Terms In English are two very useful pages for simple definition of terms. Helpful, when you're not really sure what words to use when discribing what you have.
- US Lighting Patent Project has over 14,000 patents
in a searchable database, with a
direct link to the US Patent Office documents.
- About Us who we are, and why we bring you this website.

We owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to the following (diplomatically, in alphabetical order) for their contributions of time and talent, and outright "free will offering" donations. Without everyone's help and support, very little of what the Guild has become would have been possible. We can't say THANK YOU enough.
